Greensons Limousins was founded by John Green back in the early 1980's, now his son Guy is continuing with the good work. The Greensons herd was one of the first herds in the UK to turn towards polled animals and also the first to bring black limousins into the country.  The herd is our passion and we put our heart and soul into breeding the best cattle we can.  Our aim has always been use performance recording to help deliver cows that are gentle-natured, easy calving with plenty of milk.  Calves should grow fast and have long well-fleshed carcasses.  Aside from polled genetics we are focusing on cattle that finish quicker and so are much kinder to the climate.  We firmly believe that Limousins have the genetics tools to deliver the most efficient high quality beef in the uk.
